It’s been a while since I’ve updated this thing and I am
excited to tell you all about what I have been up to these last few months. I
moved home after the family I worked for became unbearable. I decided to leave
the job when I came home for Christmas. The parents kept the children from me
once the decision was made and I miss those little boys so much and think about
them every day. But I believe everything happens for a reason. I came home and
got a job working in Human Resources and fell in LOVE! I now have a clear path
on what I want to do with my life and what career I want to be in. It was the
best few months in a job I have ever had. I am excited for the time I get back
home and start my career for good, but I am LOVING the job I have right now and
being in London again. These kids are
great also and I am very lucky. I thought I would dedicate this post to my
parents and tell everyone about my birthday trip before I moved back to London.
My Dad asked me where I would like to go before I went back and the answer was…
Vancouver B.C. Surprised? It was a hard choice since my heart is still in
California, but I have never been up there and thought it would be a nice
change for meJ.
I also got the chance to spend some time with family. Shout out to Crystal
Tucker and GRADUATING!!! I was happy I could be there for that. Vancouver was
beautiful. I defiantly could see myself living there. The city is young and
lively and has great shops! But it isn’t overwhelmingly big. It is right on the
water, and it is FILLED with beautiful people. I have never seen so many
stunning people in one city. We stayed in the Sheraton and had a fantastic view
of the city. We spent time shopping and walking around the city, went up to
Whistler and drove on the sea to sky highway (spectacular views!), Vancouver
temple, Grandville Island, Stanley Park, etc. It was a great vacation and I
really enjoyed it! I never wanted to leave. I would sleep with the blinds open
and I could look out at the view of the city. Our walls were floor to ceiling
windows. It was one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in in my life. I definitely
need to get back there again. Thanks again Dad for the BRILLIANT birthday
present! I loved it and I am so happy you planned this great trip for me. Here
are some pictures from that. J
